DexKnows and Reachlocal have the Greatest Marketshare of Local Businesses Advertising Online
Of the 68,000 Local Online Advertisers identified in our crawl of geo-targeted local keywords on Google, DexKnows managed the paid search campaigns for almost 9% of the local online advertisers. ReachLocal followed DexKnows with 4.0% of Local Advertiser Market Share. Surprising to some, Yellowpages.com and Superpages.com were a distant 3rd and 4th with 1.4% and 2.7% market share respectively. Finally, Yellowbook came out as #5 in the Local Online Advertising Management market with 1.2% of local advertisers using their service to manage their online campaigns.
